One pickup, one drop-off, one price
Point-to-point service is the simplest booking we offer: a chauffeured ride from one address to another at a price set before the car arrives. It is the right choice for a Silver Lake home to a Culver City studio, a Santa Monica hotel to a deposition in the Financial District, Pasadena to the Hollywood Bowl, or Beverly Hills to a dinner in Malibu. There is no meter running in traffic and no surge pricing when the Bowl lets out.
Airport runs work the same way, with flight tracking added; the airport transfer page covers those in detail.
How the price is set
Each fare is quoted from the pickup address, the destination, the vehicle, the time of day and any stops or waiting you add. One-way fares start from $130 for an executive sedan and $160 for an SUV. The S-Class and the Sprinter are quoted per trip. Tolls, parking and airport fees are itemized when they apply, so nothing appears on the receipt that was not on the confirmation. The routes page lists typical times and starting fares for the trips people book most.
Point-to-point or hourly?
If you are going somewhere and staying there, point-to-point is almost always cheaper. Hourly charter starts with a three-hour minimum, which is $360 in a sedan at the starting rate, so it only pays off when you have several stops, a meeting with an uncertain end time or a night that moves between venues. When in doubt, book the one-way trip and add a second booking for the return.
Timing a ride in Los Angeles traffic
Distance tells you little here; the hour tells you more. The 405 through the Sepulveda Pass is heavily congested from about 7 to 10 AM and 3 to 7 PM on weekdays, the 101 slows through the Cahuenga Pass on Hollywood Bowl nights, and the 10 between Santa Monica and Downtown can double its usual time in the evening. Your chauffeur picks the route for the hour, whether that is the freeway or surface streets such as Olympic, Venice or Sunset, and dispatch will suggest an earlier pickup when your arrival time is fixed.
Longer one-way trips
One-way service is not limited to the city. Trips to Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, San Diego and Orange County are quoted per trip, with the same written price before you confirm. The Santa Barbara route and the Anaheim route show typical drive times.
Which vehicle to book
For one to three passengers with normal luggage, the Mercedes E-Class sedan is the default. Choose the Cadillac Escalade for up to six passengers or bulky bags, the Mercedes S-Class for a principal or a special occasion, and the Mercedes Sprinter to move up to 14 people in a single trip.
