Sprinter van service provides group transport for up to 14 passengers in a high-roof van with luggage space.

These vans fit production crews, music touring parties, wedding groups, and corporate roadshow teams. The high roof allows standing room and equipment storage. Our dispatch team, headquartered in New York, assigns the sprinter through local affiliate operators who know Los Angeles load zones and venue rules. The service is ideal when a sedan is too small but a coach bus is unnecessary.

Production crews, music tours, wedding parties, and corporate groups use this service in Los Angeles.

Production crews use sprinter vans for airport-to-set moves during pilot season from January through March. Music tours and festival shuttles run between hotels, SoFi Stadium, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Anaheim Convention Center. SoFi Stadium opened in 2021 in Inglewood and seats about 70,000 guests. The Anaheim Convention Center is the largest convention center on the West Coast at roughly 1.6 million square feet. Wedding parties book sprinters for photo stops around Santa Monica Pier and Malibu. Corporate groups use them for team outings to Rose Bowl events and LA Galaxy matches.

Pricing is hourly or route-based, depending on the itinerary.

Sprinter van hourly rates start at $240 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Daily blocks and multi-day tours receive custom quotes. Route-based jobs, such as Los Angeles to Santa Barbara, are priced above the sedan rate of $295. Parking, venue loading fees, and driver lodging on overnight runs are extra. We also offer flat daily rates for recurring production schedules.

The honest limitation is curb access at LAX and other restricted venues.

Sprinters cannot use standard terminal curbside pickup zones at LAX. They must stage at the LAX-it lot or a permitted commercial area, which adds 10 to 20 minutes to some pickups. Some venues, including parts of the Hollywood Bowl and SoFi Stadium, restrict where commercial vans can load. Your dispatcher will confirm the exact meeting point before the run. Tight schedules should include a buffer for these staging requirements.

Planning a Sprinter move

Start with two numbers: passengers and bags. The Mercedes Sprinter seats up to 14, and when a group travels with full-size suitcases, equipment cases or merchandise, dispatch will check that everything fits before confirming. Send the head count, luggage count and every address on the itinerary, and note any stop where the van needs a loading zone.

Sprinters are too tall and long for some curbs. At LAX, larger vehicles stage at LAX-it or a pre-arranged commercial area rather than the terminal curb, which can add a few minutes to pickup. Venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, SoFi Stadium, the Los Angeles Convention Center and the Rose Bowl each have their own drop areas for larger vehicles, and your chauffeur confirms them ahead of arrival.

When one van beats several cars

A single Sprinter keeps a group on one timeline: everyone leaves the hotel together, arrives together and nobody is waiting on a second car stuck on the 101. It suits production crews, band and tour moves, corporate offsites, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, and wedding guest shuttles between a hotel block and the venue. Two SUVs make more sense when the group needs to split between destinations.

Sprinter service is $240 an hour with a three-hour minimum, so the minimum booking is $720 at the starting rate; the reservation form confirms the final price. See the fleet page for the other vehicle classes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people fit in a sprinter van?

Standard high-roof sprinter vans seat up to 14 passengers. Luggage capacity drops when every seat is occupied.

Do you provide sprinters for Coachella shuttles?

Yes, for groups originating in the Los Angeles area. We do not operate within the festival grounds; we drop at designated partner lots.

Can a sprinter handle luggage for 14 people?

Only if the group travels light. Full passenger loads limit space for large suitcases and equipment.

Where does a Sprinter pick up at LAX?

Larger vehicles stage at LAX-it or a pre-arranged commercial area rather than the terminal curb, which can add a few minutes. Your confirmation gives the exact meeting point and your chauffeur’s number.

When is a Sprinter better than two SUVs?

Choose the Sprinter when the whole group should travel on one timeline, usually seven or more passengers. Two SUVs work better when people need to go to different places.
